Brush strokes as a main motif and preoccupation. The intention was to follow the brush that moved intuitively across the surface leaving behind intricate traces and creating a sense of depth and layers. To achieve this amplified effect, a sheet of cellulose was used as the surface. Using cellulose as material meant that the brush bristles left behind a pronounced, high-contrast trace. The outcome being a graphic composition consisting of both stimulating forms and colours.
