ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The composition of the art print is a representation of a simplified still life. The vertical composition is filled with shades of cool beige, on which there are three motifs and a red line, drawn vertically throughout the composition creating a sense of asymmetrical balance. The motives are intentional done improperly, i.e. improperly drawn and filled with colour, a rectangle coming out of compositions, a circle and a bottle, which almost merges with the background due to the white transparency. The dynamics of the elements are given by the orange rectangle to which the colour is most saturated and to which it is the only moment where we see black contour. The three motifs overlap each other and thus create the illusion of depth.

Produced by the local artisans in Paris through giclée technique on 315g matte paper made from 100% natural cotton. The cotton paper is long-lasting, free of acids, lignin and optical brightening agents that change the look of prints over time. For the colours, only safe pigment inks were used that guarantee colour stability for up to 150 years.

The print is thoroughly inspected before the shipment. Worldwide shipping in a protective tube. The frame is not included.
