Where Our Photos Are Taken

You may wonder where Maison Charlot photos are taken, and where our images come to life. There is no studio, no staged interiors, no perfect sets built for the occasion.

All our photoshoots take place in real homes. Most of them are in Paris, in the apartments of friends, neighbours, and people close to us. Some of these spaces also belong to our clients, who kindly opened their doors and trusted us with their everyday surroundings.

Each home is different. Some are quiet, others more vibrant. Some are minimal, others filled with objects and memories. What they all share is character. They reflect the people who live there, their rhythm, their tastes, their way of inhabiting a space.

We love working this way because it feels honest. Our art prints are meant to live in real homes, with natural light, imperfect walls, and lived-in spaces. Photographing them where life actually happens makes sense to us.
